Royal National Life Boat Lighthouse Stamps 7 sets
These are stamps issued by the Royal National Life Boat Institution of famous rescues performed by their life boat crews. One of the stamps of the Ramsgate Life Boat crew rescuing the crew of the shipwrecked Indian Chief shows a lighthouse. The stamps were issued in blocks of eight different stamps. Being offered here for sale is seven of the blocks, each one being a different color. The colors are red as shown, brown, maroon, turquoise, black, blue, and green. Each set of eight different stamps is approximately 4 ¼”W x 5 ¼”H. All are in mint condition. They are very scarce and extremely hard to find, especially full sets and this is seven full sets. They would make a great addition to any lighthouse, life-saving, maritime or stamp collection or for museum display. This is a rare opportunity to own seven sets. As antique items, they are sold as-is with no return.
